Counselor In Training (CIT)
Entering Grades 11-12 (Fall 2021)
Counselor in Training (CIT) provides both a camp experience and valuable hands-on experience working with children.
- The CIT program will provide useful tools and information on how to be an effective counselor through hands-on experience.
- CITs learn how to plan an activity, interact effectively with both campers and counselors and handle tough situations.
- CITs must commit to a minimum of four consecutive weeks. A personal interview is required. Space is limited.
- CITs receive a stipend ($200 per session) upon successfully completing the program. To apply, please complete the CIT application online at rosenjcc.org/CIT.
CITs who successfully complete at least one 4-week session of the program have first priority to be employed at Camp J the following summer as a Jr. counselor.

Session II (July 6-July 30)
$450 per session ($350 JCC members)
