GENERAL CAMP June 8th – July 31st / Monday – Friday 9AM to 4PM

Juniors – Grades K–2: $295 per week ($285 JCC Members) Seniors – Grades 3–8: $295 per week ($285 JCC Members)

WELCOME TO GENERAL CAMP! WHERE THE EXCITEMENT NEVER STOPS!

  • Diverse Activities: Fun for campers of all ages, including arts and crafts, science, cooking, theater, and group games.

  • Water Day: For First grade and Kindergarten on Thursdays.

  • Group Sorting: Campers are sorted by grade for an optimal experience with peers and dedicated counselors.

  • General Campers: Personalized adventure with Elective options:

    • Team Sports

    • Technology

    • Art Projects

    • Gaming

  • Weekly Special Events & Field Trips: Adding extra excitement and opportunities to create unforgettable memories and friendships!

What To Bring To Camp Header Image

What to Bring to Camp 

Camp J is a place for comfortable, loose-fitting clothes. Campers will be active every day and will need a variety of clothing to suit all activities. Campers are encouraged to bring the following items:

  • Backpack

  • Insulated lunch box

  • Swim clothes, shoes and towel

  • Hat and sunscreen

  • Water bottle

  • Camp t-shirt (on field trip days)

 

What NOT to Bring As a general rule, anything valuable that a camper would be upset if lost, broken, ruined, or stolen should not be brought to camp. Camp J does not assume responsibility for any lost, broken, or stolen items, including these which we discourage bringing:

  • Electronic devices, including phones, tablets, laptops, cameras, smart watches.

  • Toys

  • Valuables

  • Food containing peanut or tree nut ingredients.

Cell phone and electronics policy: To keep campers safe and engaged, cell phones and any electronics are not allowed at camp. Our staff are always accessible by phone in the event of an emergency or if you need to check on your camper.

Meals

SNACKS: All camps include an afternoon snack around 2:00 p.m. A morning snack is not included. Campers should bring one if needed.

LUNCH OPTIONS: Campers may bring their own lunch or purchase one. Lunch orders must be placed no later than 11:59 PM on the previous day. All lunches must be peanut and tree nut free. Lunch can be ordered through the links below.

ICE CREAM: Ice cream is available at lunchtime. Ice cream can be purchased at the links below either weekly or added to a daily lunch order.

LUNCH MENU

  • Monday: Macaroni & Cheese, Breadstick, Vegetable, Fruit Cup
  • Tuesday: Ground Beef Sliders, Tater Tots, Vegetable, Danish
  • Wednesday: Spaghetti with Sauce, Breadstick, Vegetable, Fruit Cup
  • Thursday: Chicken Nuggets, Tater Tots, Vegetable, Danish
  • Friday: Pizza
  • Alternative Lunch: Buttered Noodles, Asst. Vegetable, Fruit Medley, Cookie

LUNCH PRICING

Lunch (5 days/wk) – $6.50/day

Ice Cream (4 days/wk) – $8/week

Lunches and ice cream can be pre-paid on a weekly or daily basis.

NO CASH FOR ICE CREAM WILL BE ACCEPTED!

Extended Care

Our extended care program is available for all campers, allowing drop-off as early as 7 a.m. and pick-up as late as 6 p.m. During this time, our counselors will keep campers engaged with fun games and activities!

Extended Care Weekly Pricing AM Care (7AM–9AM) $50 per week PM Care (4PM–6PM) $50 per week

Extended Care Daily Pricing AM Care (7AM–9AM) $15 per day PM Care (4PM–6PM) $15 per day

Parents/guardians must notify the Camp in advance if their child will attend Extended Care.

Extended Care Policy: For those enrolled until 6:00 PM, please note that a late pickup fee of $15 will also be incurred for any Camper not promptly picked up by 6:05 PM. Furthermore, pickups after 6:15 PM will result in a significant late fee of $100. It’s important to understand that repeated instances of late collection beyond these grace periods may lead to expulsion from the Camp. This policy is designed to ensure our staff can efficiently fulfill their end-of-day responsibilities while maintaining the highest quality of care for all children.
